Painting

Painting is the final and most visible stage of any renovation – the true finishing touch that brings everything together.

We use only high-quality paints and take the time to carefully prepare the walls, using additional lighting during the process to ensure a flawless finish.

Our goal is always a smooth, vibrant surface that exceeds expectations.

Ames Taping & Plastering

We offer a full range of plastering services, including ready-mix plaster, and wet plastering (Multifinish skimming) – which eliminates the need for sanding.

Our priority is the final quality of the surface, as it directly affects the painting and decorating phase.

Smooth, well-prepared walls are the foundation of a beautiful finish.

3D / Wallpapering

Wallpapering, just like painting, is the final showcase of a room and plays a big role in the overall look and feel of the space.

We meticulously prepare the walls and use only premium-quality wallpapers to achieve long-lasting, eye-catching results.

Every seam and pattern matters – and we make sure it looks perfect.

 Choosing the Right Paint Finish

When selecting a paint finish, it’s important to consider both design and practicality.

For example, in high-traffic areas like hallways, or in homes with pets or children, a flat finish may look elegant but won’t hold up well over time. In these cases, eggshell or satin finishes are better due to their durability and easier cleaning.

A Few Key Tips:

  • Matt vs Gloss – The higher the sheen, the easier it is to clean. Matt hides surface imperfections but is harder to maintain.

  • High Gloss – Only works on perfectly smooth surfaces. Otherwise, the shine will highlight every defect.

  • Matt Finish – Ideal for covering flaws and creating a classic, soft look with rich colour tones.

  • Mixing Sheens – Experiment with combining different finishes! A high-gloss trim paired with matt walls can create contrast and visual interest.

  • Glossy Ceilings – Reflective surfaces on ceilings can brighten a room and make it feel larger.

  • Be Careful – When using different sheens of the same colour (e.g. for walls and woodwork), always label your paint cans clearly to avoid mix-ups.
